Hovercraft Consultants Ltd was originally
founded in 1991, in Southampton, in the heart of the UK’s
hovercraft industry. The aim of the business was the provision
of air cushion
technology, design and consultancy to businesses such as shipyards,
which were diversifying into new marine technologies.
By the end of the decade HCL had became an accomplished design
and build organisation, with an international reputation for the
design and manufacture of complex flexible structures, including
hovercraft skirts.
Today, HCL consists of a dedicated team of flexible experts whose
aim is to provide first class products for our customers, whilst
retaining the specialist design and consultancy services that have
been the key to our success.
